1821 Capped Bust Dime (10c) Large Date

This VF35 example of the ever-popular (and slightly more elusive Capped Bust design) has an attractive medium gray patina that's developed naturally over its two centuries of existence. The surfaces show honest wear consistent with the grade, yet retain clear details in Liberty's cap and hair curls. The stars surrounding the portrait remain well-defined, and the reverse eagle maintains strong feather detail and clear shield lines.
