1875 Seated Liberty Quarter (25c) OGH

This AU58 example graded by PCGS is actually a lightly-circulated proof in a mislabeled holder. It doesn't change the value much and we don't want to lose the lovely OGH holder, so here it sits. The coin displays a pleasing original gray patina with traces of underlying mirrors still visible in the protected areas. The strike is bold, with well-defined stars and drapery lines on the obverse and crisp feather details on the reverse eagle. Light wear is evident only on the highest points, consistent with the AU58 grade. The surfaces remain remarkably clean for a coin that briefly circulated, with minimal marks and excellent eye appeal.
