1915 Barber Half Dollar (50c)
PCGS
F15
CAC
The 1915 Barber half dollar represents one of the final issues of this classic series, with production ending the following year. While not considered a key date with its mintage of 138,000 from Philadelphia, the 1915 is notably scarcer than many other dates in the series, particularly in nice circulated grades like this F15 example.
This CAC-approved coin displays even, medium-gray toning throughout both sides, with a pleasing, original appearance that's becoming increasingly difficult to find. The surfaces show honest wear consistent with the F15 grade, maintaining clear detail in Liberty's hair and the eagle's feathers. The fields are remarkably clean for a coin that spent time in circulation, with no distracting marks or damage. The eye appeal is excellent, with the original patina highlighting the design's architectural elements rather than obscuring them.
