1934A $500 Federal Reserve Note

This 1934A $500 Federal Reserve Note, Fr. 2202-G, from the Chicago district represents the pinnacle of readily available high-denomination currency. The 1934A series is particularly notable as one of the last high-denomination notes issued before the discontinuation of $500 and larger bills in 1969.
