1794 Head of 1794 Liberty Cap Large Cent (1c) S-24 Apple Cheek

A popular S-24 "Apple Cheek" cent, named after its unusually well rounded cheek. Medium chocolate-brown surfaces show warm even auburn-copper color, giving this example a pleasing look. Detail is strong for the grade, with well-defined hair, and excellent wreath detail on the reverse. Some minor reverse porosity is noted for transparency, though it does little to impede eye appeal. Overall a fantastic and attractive example of a desirable die marriage.
