1795 Flowing Hair Dollar ($1) 3 Leaves
PCGS VG Details
We don't typically deal in Details-graded coins, but made an exception with this one: It looks *really* good, and it's priced right. It shows honest wear from its time in circulation during the early American republic and despite being cleaned at some point in its 228-year history, the coin retains strong definition of the major design elements and very pleasing color and surfaces.
The obverse shows clear flowing hair details and visible stars, while the reverse eagle remains well-defined within its wreath. The medium gray patina has developed naturally over time, giving the coin an authentic appearance that speaks to its journey through American history.
For the budget-conscious collector seeking to own a genuine piece of early American coinage, this accessible example offers tremendous historical significance without the premium commanded by higher-grade specimens.
