1799 Draped Bust Dollar ($1)

We don't typically stock Details coins, but we made an exception for this delightful pre-1800 dollar. Nicely original for a Details piece, this coin shows honest VF meat with even steel-gray patina and lighter pearl highlights on the devices that give it exceedingly pleasing "circulated cameo" eye appeal. The surfaces are stable and unmessed-with in color, with natural circulation texture and no gloss. Some very minor old obverse scratches and a rim ding appear to account for the Damaged tag, yet the rims are otherwise sound and the reverse remains especially attractive for the grade level. A solid, problem-noted example housed in a clean NGC holder that will slot neatly into a circulated early dollar set.
