1799 Draped Bust Dollar ($1)

A textbook XF with wholesome, original skin and strong eye appeal. The surfaces show pleasing pewter-silver color warmed by golden and light champagne toning at the rims, with softly satiny original luster clinging in protected areas. Wear is even and balanced on both sides, the devices remain bold, and the rims are solid. A few scattered contact marks and light wear keep it squarely in the Choice XF tier, but nothing distracts. Housed in a PCGS gold shield holder, this specimen has that honest, untouched look we all crave.
