Warm chocolate-brown surfaces with olive overtones and a pleasing, even high-contrast patina give this Small Date, Large Fraction cent excellent eye appeal for the grade. Detail is strong throughout with crisp LIBERTY and well-defined wreath elements, and the planchet quality is notably sound for early copper. The fields are smooth and original with only minor circulation ticks - a tiny piece of fiber on the surface at 7 o’clock is the lone quibble. Nicely centered, problem-free, and housed in a PCGS gold shield holder, this VF-level example has the look we all chase in early large cents.
