Rich chocolate-brown surfaces with steel and olive undertones give this S-254 a genuinely original look, evenly worn with bold, problem-free rims and surprisingly crisp hair detail for the grade. The fields are smooth and hard with a pleasing natural gloss, and the reverse lettering and wreath remain sharp, enhancing the overall eye appeal. A tiny reddish spot within the bow is noted but not distracting. Housed in a fresh NGC holder with full variety attribution, this example is a strong, satisfying VF with very reasonable claims to XF.
