1809 Capped Bust Half Dollar (50c)

A right-on XF with pleasing originality and strong eye appeal. The surfaces show an even antique-silver patina with warm golden highlights and a whisper of blue at the rims - especially on the reverse. Detail is balanced and bold for the level, with faint luster clinging in the protected curls and around the eagle. The skin looks undisturbed and smooth, with only a few scattered ticks in the fields limiting things. Nicely centered strike, clean rims, and a wholesome, honest look in an NGC holder.
