Totally wholesome and original, this VF-level 1811 shows even dove-to-steel gray color with slightly darker peripheries and that pleasing, untouched skin everyone looks for. Wear is perfectly balanced, LIBERTY reads cleanly, and the devices remain strong for the grade. Surfaces are smooth and honest with only a couple tiny, old rim nicks (notably at the obverse rim near 12 o’clock) and trivial scattered ticks, nothing distracting. A hint of residual luster hides in the protected recesses, boosting the eye appeal. Housed in a current PCGS holder and sporting a well-deserved green CAC sticker, this example is clearly choice for the assigned grade.
