1811/10 Capped Bust Half Dollar (50c) O-101

A wholesome, original example of the popular 1811/10 "punctuated date" overdate, with the telltale die dot between the 8 and 1 plainly visible. Even, honest wear has left plenty of detail in Liberty's curls and the eagle's wing feathers, while the skin shows a natural blend of antique silver-gray with soft olive and gold accents settled into the recesses. The surfaces are smooth and undisturbed for the grade, free of anything distracting, and the overall look is exactly what you want in a mid-grade Bust half. Housed in a PCGS holder with a well-deserved green bean.
