1812 Capped Bust Half Dollar (50c)

Wonderfully original crust defines this 1812 half, with warm olive-gray patina deepening to charcoal in the recesses and lighter, honest high points that give the devices real definition. Wear is smooth and even across both sides, the obverse was softly struck yielding center weakness, while the well struck reverse shows crisp feather detail on the eagle for the grade. The surfaces are undisturbed and problem-free, the kind of natural old skin that CAC likes. Housed in a PCGS holder, this example delivers strong, wholesome eye appeal for a choice mid-grade early Bust half.
