1817 Coronet Large Cent (1c) 13 Stars Laidacker Collection

Plenty of mint red survives on this 1817 13 Stars cent, blending with warm cocoa and mahogany for a genuinely attractive RB look on both sides. The strike is good, though some hair softness is noted. The surfaces are as fresh and original as it gets. We thought this one was a sure 64 when we submitted, but are happy to offer it is an outstanding 63. Housed in a PCGS Gold Shield holder with a green CAC sticker, from the Laidacker collection.
