1818/5 Capped Bust Quarter (25c)

The 1818/5 Capped Bust Quarter is notable for its overdate, where the 1818 date was crafted over an earlier 1815 die. It's part of the early quarter series, where any overdate variety enhances the coin's numismatic interest.

Graded G4 by NGC and endorsed by CAC, this coin offers solid affordability for an early American quarter. Despite its grade, the overdate is clear, and the devices retain a characteristic appeal. The surfaces display honest wear, with an even, original patina that complements the overall presentation, ensuring eye appeal for the experienced numismatist.
