1820/19 Coronet Large Cent (1c)

This NGC AU55 overdate is wonderfully original, sporting smooth, problem free surfaces with an even medium chocolate brown skin framed by faint olive and tan accents. Traces of remaining luster peek from the protected areas, giving the fields a gentle, satiny glow, and the overdate is bold to the naked eye. Contact is minimal and well hidden, with only a light whisper of friction in the open fields keeping it out of a higher holder. A wholesome, balanced early copper with pleasing eye appeal.
