1824/4 Capped Bust Half Dollar (50c)

Superb AU eye appeal with rich antique-gold and warm olive-gray patina, flecked with subtle steel-blue at the rims and plenty of underlying luster pushing through. The surfaces are wonderfully original with a light, even crust around the devices that sets up a classic circulated cameo look. Detail is bold and balanced, and the coin carries smoothly with no distractions beyond the light friction you’d expect at AU58.
