1825 Capped Bust Half Dollar (50c)

Thick, original patina - soft silver-gray centers framed by pale gold and antique tan toward the peripheries, with areas of deep charcoal. Wear is light and even, with excellent hair separation, and nice feather detail throughout, with touches of luster lingering in the protected areas around the devices. The surfaces are smooth and undisturbed for the grade, and the eye appeal is thoroughly wholesome. Housed in a PCGS Gold Shield holder with a well-deserved green bean.
