1828 Capped Bust Half Dollar (50c) Square 2, Small 8s, Lg. Letters

This 1828 bust half exhibits simply perfect originality, with even medium-gray patina deepening to charcoal in the protected recesses and lighter silver on the honestly worn high points, making for a delightful "circ-cam" appearance. Detail is strong for the grade - LIBERTY is fully bold, the hair curls retain nice separation, and the eagle's feathers and shield lines remain crisp. The surfaces are smooth and undisturbed, giving this specimen a settled, old-time look with genuinely pleasing eye appeal. Housed in a PCGS gold shield holder attributed Square 2, Small 8s, Large Letters, and CAC-approved.
