1836 Capped Bust Half Dollar (50c) Lettered Edge

A nice XF 1836 bust half showing aged gunmetal-gray patina with accents of khaki-gold. Wear is natural and honest, with bold curls, crisp stars, and well-defined eagle feathers for an XF40. Some strike weakness left of the shield is noted. Traces of luster linger around the devices and lettering, and the surfaces are smooth and undisturbed, free of anything distracting. Housed in a PCGS holder.
