1837 Capped Bust Half Dollar (50c)
PCGS XF40
An affordable, original example of a reeded edge bust half. The obverse shows an even tan-pewter patina with lighter high points that frame Liberty's portrait. The reverse is slate-grey, though some minor discolorations are noted. Wear is modest, leaving strong curl definition, crisp stars, and sharp shield lines. Housed in a PCGS gold shield holder.
