1842 Seated Liberty Dollar ($1)
PCGS AU55
Seated Dollars have a special place in our heart - they're just...awesome.
Our workhorse coin design for nearly 40 years (1837-1873), these big hefty chonky silver dollars helped make the wheels of commerce turn in the US. And with the exception of the 1859-O and 1860-O, we didn't put a ton of them away in mint bags, so finding nice original examples means they survived in the wild.
This example is exactly that: nice. A solid mid-grade AU example with just a hint of wear and super pleasing original surfaces. Not too dark, not too bright - juyyyyst right.
