1842 Seated Liberty Half Dime (h10c)

Dove-gray centers deepening to charcoal and faint olive at the borders give this example a wholesome, original look. LIBERTY reads clearly on the shield, and the drapery folds and wreath leaves retain bold definition for VF35. Wear is even and balanced, with lighter silver high points that frame the devices nicely. Surfaces are pleasingly smooth for the grade, with nothing distracting. Strong eye appeal in a PCGS Gold Shield holder with a well-deserved green bean.
