1851/81 Braided Hair Large Cent (1c)

This CAC graded example shows even, chocolate-brown skin with pleasing olive and rose undertones with faint hints of mint red tucked away in the obverse device. Satiny, original surfaces offer a soft cartwheel, and the strike is crisp throughout. The grade feels conservative, as we'd expect a 61 to have negative eye appeal. Collectors of CAC approved copper know how tough it is to find an UNC example of this (inverted) over-date!
