1852 Braided Hair Large Cent (1c)

Blazing for a brown large cent, this CAC approved MS64 in a PCGS gold shield holder shows wonderfully original, satiny chocolate-brown surfaces with subtle mahogany and olive highlights. The strike is crisp throughout, hair and wreath details are full, and the luster rolls cleanly across both sides. Contact is minimal for the grade, as clean as most gem graded examples.
