1853 Gold Dollar (G$1)

Even by OGH standards, it's amazing this coin wound up in an AU58 holder! Rich orange-gold surfaces show warm apricot and russet accents, and the satiny luster is unbroken, giving it a definite mint state look. The strike is razor-sharp, with crisp curls and wreath leaves. Housed in a vintage PCGS old green holder and sporting a well-deserved gold CAC sticker.
