1854-S Liberty Gold Eagle ($10)

Lovely wheat-gold color with original, satiny skin and strong cartwheel for the grade - a classic AU slider look that feels all of 58. Surfaces are pleasingly even with balanced, high-point friction only; an old, linear mark in the right reverse field is the lone distraction and likely what capped the grade. The eye appeal is undeniably strong, backed by a well-deserved green CAC, and it sits in a current PCGS holder. A handsome, honest 1854-S eagle that really pops in hand.
