1855 Gold Dollar ($1)

Warm, even orange-gold color with lively satiny luster that flashes around the devices—very much a “58 slider.” High points show just a whisper of rub on the portrait and bow, while the fields remain attractive with only a few wispy hairlines. Rims are sound, legends crisp, and the reverse detail is notably bold for the grade. Excellent eye appeal in a clean, modern NGC holder.
