1855 Gold Dollar ($1)

Glowing medium gold with a hint of orange, this MS63 plus shows satiny luster on both sides and that lovely undipped, original look we all hunt for. The details are bold for the issue, the fields are alive with cartwheel. A few scattered ticks in the obverse fields are the only thing keeping it out of a higher grade. PCGS nailed the plus here - the eye appeal is better than a run of the mill 63.
