Warm honey-tan surfaces with a golden glow give this 1857 Flying Eagle a fresh, wholesome look that stands out for a 62. The eagle's breast and wing feathers are crisply rendered, and the wreath detail on the reverse is equally bold. A natural toning streak crosses the upper obverse field, commonly seen on these copper-nickel cents. A few natural, light ticks are all that cap the grade.
