1857 Flying Eagle Cent (1c)

Warm, original nickel-tan surfaces with a soft satiny cartwheel and notably sharp detail for the issue. The obverse shows a tiny reddish toning fleck on the lower wing and a few scattered ticks, while the reverse is impressively clean with crisp devices and undisturbed texture. Color is even and pleasing from rim to center, with no spots or discoloration of consequence. Eye appeal lands solidly above the grade, and the green CAC sticker nods in approval in this current-generation PCGS holder.
