1857 Flying Eagle Cent (1c)

Warm golden-bronze surfaces with satiny cartwheel luster give this example strong, choice eye appeal. Some light toning not apparent in the photos is more appreciated in hand. The strike is better than typical, with crisp feather detail and a well-defined wreath, and the fields are notably clean for the issue. A couple of small carbon flecks are noted, yet they do not lessen eye appeal. Housed in a PCGS gold shield holder and topped with a green CAC sticker that confirms the quality.
