1859 J-226 Pattern Cent (1c) Laidacker Collection

A scarce J-226 transitional pattern from the Laidacker collection, pairing the 1859 Indian obverse with the oak wreath reverse, certified PR65 in a PCGS Gold Shield holder with a green CAC sticker. The copper-nickel surfaces glow with warm honey-tan and pale golden color, fully original and evenly matched across both sides. The strike is needle-sharp, with crisp feather tips, bold headband lettering, and finely detailed oak leaves. The fields are smooth and undisturbed for a gem, and the eye appeal is exceptional for this important pattern issue.
