1859 Three Cent Silver (3CS)

Deliciously original surfaces with a mottled tone heaviest at the rims - the kind of natural color we all hunt for on a 3CS. Luster rolls underneath the toning and pops through at the light angle, giving this example a lively, satiny look. The strike is crisp with strong definition, and the fields are refreshingly clean for the grade, with only a whisper of scattered contact limiting a higher number.
