1860 Liberty Gold Double Eagle ($20)

Rich antique-gold color with subtle orange accents and strongly satiny luster flashing through both sides gives this coin impressive eye appeal for the grade. The surfaces look original and undisturbed, with only light friction on the high points and cheek. Cartwheel remains lively in the fields, especially on the reverse, which is notably clean for an AU. A few scattered contact marks limit the grade, but they don’t steal the show. Housed in a PCGS holder and approved by CAC, this example absolutely nails the AU58 look.
