1863 Indian Cent (1c)

Warm honey-tan copper-nickel color with rose gold highlights around the portrait and wreath gives this 1863 a glowing, thoroughly original look. Plenty of satiny luster survives in the fields and around the lettering on both sides, and the strike is even, though some weakness is noted. Only a touch of light rub on the cheek and hair separate it from mint state, and the surfaces are refreshingly free of distractions for the grade. Housed in an older PCGS holder with a green CAC sticker.
