1864-S Seated Liberty Half Dollar (50c)

Wholesome, original mid-gray skin with even circulation gives this example a notably balanced look, and the eye appeal is strong for a VF. LIBERTY is clear, the shield lines and eagle’s feathers hold up well, and the fields are smooth for the level with only trivial abrasions. A couple of tiny ticks at the rims (notably near 5 o’clock obverse) are the only distractions. Color is a natural dove-gray with deeper accents in the recesses—no signs of mishandling. Housed in a modern PCGS holder and topped with a well-deserved green CAC sticker.
