1866-S Seated Liberty Half Dollar (50c) No Motto
NGC F15
A wholesome, evenly circulated example with that pleasing, original dove‑gray skin collectors love - no gloss, no distractions. Detail is right where it should be for a solid Fine: full rims, bold date, and enough ribbon lettering to keep you smiling. The obverse shows a faint diagonal scuff in the right field and a couple tiny rim ticks, but nothing that disturbs the coin’s balanced look. The reverse is smooth and problem‑free, with natural darker recesses accenting the devices. Eye appeal is quietly confident for the grade. Housed in an NGC holder and pedigreed to the John W. McCloskey Collection - a nice provenance for a tough 1866‑S No Motto.
