1866 Two Cents (2c)

Lovely mahogany-brown surfaces with subtle reddish undertones in the protected areas and a soft, satiny cartwheel that glows under light. Both sides are refreshingly original, the color even and stable, with just a few scattered field ticks keeping it out of gem. Sharply defined devices and smooth fields give this example notably strong eye appeal, and the well-deserved green CAC sticker confirms the quality. Housed in a PCGS holder.
