1868 Three Cent Nickel (3CN)

This three cent nickel offers pleasing, satiny luster on pale pewter and champagne-nickel surfaces with an even, untouched look. The strike is strong for the date, showing crisp detail throughout the hair and wreath, and the cartwheel rolls nicely in hand. A few scattered ticks in the open fields set the grade, but there are no spots or distractions. Housed in a current PCGS holder with the gold shield label.
