1869 Pattern Nickel (5c) J-684 Rattler

Beautifully original AU55 pattern 5c in an early PCGS rattler blessed with a well-deserved green CAC sticker. The fields show soft antique silver with pale gold and olive highlights, deepening to a thin ring of peripheral color that frames both sides. Detail remains bold with just light, even friction on the high points and no distractions worth mentioning beyond a few faint field ticks. The reverse wreath pops with pleasing contrast against smooth, satiny fields, giving this specimen strong, balanced eye appeal we all hunt for.
