1872 Seated Liberty Dollar ($1)

A lovely circulated proof in an NGC holder with solid skin. The fields show faint remaining reflectivity under a mellow slate to pewter patina. Detail remains sharp, the surfaces are smooth for a circulated proof, and there are no distracting marks. Some light friction in the open fields explains the mid AU grade, but the overall eye appeal is choice, even, and apparent.
