1874 Gold Dollar (G$1)

Rich orange-gold color with faint russet highlights in the reverse fields gives this type three gold dollar a warm, original look. Satiny luster glows beneath the patina, and the strike is decent, though some wreath softness is noted. A few scattered field ticks cap the grade. Housed in an older NGC holder, this example carries a green CAC sticker and plenty of eye appeal.
