1875-S Trade Dollar (T$1) Type-I/II Chopmarked
PCGS MS61
Pleasing satiny luster rolls across even dove-gray surfaces with a faint champagne cast, delivering solid eye appeal for a chopmarked survivor that did its time overseas and lived to tell the tale. The obverse hosts a bold, well-sunk chop in the lower right field that adds character without overwhelming the design, while the reverse remains comparatively clean. Strike is better than typical, with sharp central detail and crisp rims. Scattered contact and a few light wipe lines account for the grade, but the coin sits nicely in the holder. Labeled by PCGS as Chopmarked Obv 1 Rev 2, this example is an engaging MS-level Trade dollar that looks right in hand.
