1876-S Trade Dollar (T$1) Chopmarked

Silvery dove-gray with light champagne at the rims, this coin shows vibrant cartwheel for the issue and a pleasingly original skin. Bold chopmarks are featured on both sides - across the obverse knee and centrally on the eagle - with the rest of the satiny fields showing only scattered ticks and faint friction typical of the grade. Strike is confident with plenty of definition where it matters, and the overall eye appeal is well above average for a chopmarked example. Housed in a modern PCGS shield holder and blessed with a green CAC sticker that signals quality for the assigned MS level.
