1877-S/S Seated Liberty Quarter (25c) S/Horizontal S

Choice, original surfaces under a soft satiny sheen, with even antique silver punctuated by warm champagne-gold and a whisper of pastel at the rims. Cartwheel luster rolls nicely through the skin, and the strike is solid with sharp shield lines and well-detailed eagle feathers. The S over horizontal S mintmark is plainly visible and adds interest. A green CAC sticker backs the quality. Some scattered contact in the open obverse field caps the grade, but the overall eye appeal is strong and refreshingly natural.
