Frosty, bold cartwheel luster rolls across bright silver surfaces with attractive pale gold rim toning, giving this 1878-CC plenty of eye appeal. The strike is bold with crisp hair and eagle detail, and the fields are nicely preserved. A few scattered ticks on Liberty’s cheek explain the grade, while the reverse is fully gem. Housed in a PCGS gold shield holder and blessed with a green CAC sticker, this MS64+ feels every bit the plus.
