1880-S Morgan Dollar ($1) Rainbow Toner
PCGS MS64
Electric, full-spectrum color engulfs the obverse - neon magenta, cyan, lime, and gold with vibrant cartwheel beneath - while the reverse remains frosty and largely untoned for a dramatic two-sided contrast. Luster is strong for the grade, with satiny bloom on the reverse and lively flash peeking through the skin up front. Typical 64 chatter shows as scattered ticks on the cheek and in the right field; nothing distracting, and the fields are pleasantly clean for the issue. The reverse displays a few light bagmarks and faint die polish, adding texture without impairing the look. Housed in an earlier PCGS holder (series/coin-number label). Eye appeal is enormous for this monster toner - this example absolutely pops in hand.
