1882-O Morgan Dollar ($1) Error - Struck 10 Percent Off-Center

PCGS MS61

Dramatic 10 percent off-center strike creates a broad blank crescent from roughly 9 to 12 o’clock on both sides, while keeping the date fully on the flan - a terrific look for an error dollar. Frosty, bright silver surfaces show a soft cartwheel with faint champagne at the edges, giving this example pleasing eye appeal for the grade. Detail remains strong where struck up, and the rims along the unstruck arc are crisp. Some scattered contact in the open fields caps the grade. Housed in a PCGS gold shield holder carrying the Mint Error designation.
